Elaine Owen founded Designated Associates and Designated Design.
Designated Associates was set up with the express purpose of enabling organisations to develop leadership skills and mentor and coach their staff using leading edge learning techniques to specifically enable individual’s different learning styles.
Initially using all that she had learned from her own experiences to help others to achieve the best they could of themselves and therefore their organisations.
Elaine found herself with an extremely successful company very early on. The demand for Designated Associates services was incredible with the first contract in 1994 being for 5000 learners from Vauxhall Motors, closely followed by other large contracts from Littlewoods & Index.
Designated Design was born by organic demand from our customers for us to design and develop systems, solutions and websites. We have designed database solutions for large blue chip organisations, created intranet and Internet based systems for specific purposes such as HR, health & safety, stock control etc.
Recent projects include STEM town an interactive Flash game specifically designed to encourage young children to study science, technology, engineering and maths, a virtual e-mentoring online solution and current projects include a unique trading platform and website for Halton Chamber of Commerce.
