Training - ITQ

This qualification is aimed at IT Users in the workplace and is eligible for skillworks with 60% off, employees who complete the course successfully receive a free PC upon completion.

ITQ is a new flexible IT user qualification and training package that can be tailored to ensure that the candidate is trained and assessed in just the IT skills that they need Levels 1, 2 and 3.

No formal entry requirements are required although the candidate MUST use IT in their work. Candidates will be assessed via workplace evidence which may be attached to the online portfolio every candidate uses. All candidates must complete an interview where they will be assessed and advised of the appropriate level.

European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)

Designated Associates are an accredited training and test centre for the BCS for the delivery of the European Computer Driving License and the Advanced European Computer Driving License. The ECDL is an internationally recognised standard of competence, certifying that the holder has the knowledge and skill needed to use the most common computer applications efficiently and productively.

The ECDL is designed specifically for those who wish to gain a basic qualification in computing; no prior knowledge of IT or computer skills is needed to study the ECDL.
